FORGIVENESS
June 16, 2026

Every Saturday, we gather here - not as experts or guides, but as fellow journeyers finding our way through. The Saturday 7 is our weekly ritual: one word, seven steps, and a reminder that healing happens one moment at a time. Pull up a chair. You belong here. Let's dive in!

This week's word is surrender. Before you do anything else, sit with it for a moment. Read the quotes below, breathe in the affirmation, and let both settle into you before you move forward.

When you're ready, pour something warm and take your time with this week's Tuesday Talk. The full story is waiting for you - go at your own pace.

Now take me with you. Pop in your earbuds and press play whenever you're ready - on your walk, your commute, or your quiet moment. This one's for you.

Now it's your turn. Your journal is waiting, and there are no right answers here - just you, the page, and whatever needs to come out. Write freely and honestly, without editing yourself.

  • Think about something you have been holding onto -- a situation, a relationship, a version of yourself, or a story about what you deserve. What would it feel like to release it, not because you failed, but because you finally trust that something better is already on its way? What becomes possible for you when you open your hands?
  • Where in your life right now are you gripping the steering wheel so tightly that you cannot feel anything else? What are you afraid will happen if you let go? Write it out without editing yourself -- let the fear have a voice so you can hear what it is actually saying.
  • Think back to a time when something ended, fell apart, or was taken away -- something you did not choose -- and something better eventually came from it. What did that season teach you about trust? How does that memory speak to where you are right now?
  • What does surrender feel like in your body? Not the word, but the physical sensation of releasing something heavy. When have you felt that, even briefly? Describe it as specifically as you can. What had to happen for you to get to that moment of release?
  • Write a letter to the woman you were one year ago. Tell her what you know now about letting go, trusting God, and getting out of your own way. What do you wish she had known sooner? What would you want her to hear before she walked through what was coming?

When you're hungry to go deeper, start here. More voices, more wisdom, more light on the path - because you don't have to navigate this journey alone. 1 book · 1 podcast
